The kids have been working with clay quite a bit lately.
But Emily would rather be painting...

Actually, she's pretty happy at art class.
Outside, our teacher has a wonderful garden that Emily plays in when she's "done" with art. She has a couple of persimmon trees that we had fun picking.

Is that class just for your children? I know my girls would love to take an art class. They spent some time painting on our trip over Thanksgiving.
We found out about this art class from some other homeschool friends. Wendy, just ask around, someone may be doing the same thing in their garage!
Most of the time, we are with a couple of other families. Some moms drop off, and occasionaly, I do too. But I really like getting to participate now that Emily is getting a bit older and can join in. This past fall we got spoiled and had the class just to ourselves! We started the class because of Amys interest in art. But everyone looks forward to the class.
