Amy just finished up "English for the Thoughtful Child" and now is ready for a new Grammar curriculum. Evan has been using Rod and Staff this past year, which I like, but don't love. Our favorite was First Language Lessons by Jessie Wise (for 1st and 2nd grade).
Does anyone have a recommendation for 3rd (4th) grade Grammar? We're doing some review right now, but for the first time I'm kind of stumped about where to go next. I would appreciate any help you can give! Thanks!

We have used Shurley Grammar for two years now. The kids are learning and they enjoy it. That may be one to consider.
I hope you are still reading comments on this post. I am stumped by what grammar curriculum to use next year also. We use Shurley Grammar now, but it is weak in writing and diagraming. Susan Wise Bauer recommended Rod and Staff in her book, so I was going to use that next year based upon her recommendation.
So, I am curious to know what you disliked about the program before I spend the money for 3 different grade levels.
